925 Sterling Silver

925 Sterling Silver is a lightweight metal made of 92.5% pure silver. It’s highly durable and designed for everyday wear.

18K Gold Vermeil

Whilst not a commonly known phrase, you should learn to love Gold Vermeil. To be classed as such, the piece must have a base of sterling silver, and the thickness of the gold must be a minimum of 2.5 microns meaning it will  last longer. You get the look & feel of gold jewelry at a fraction of the price.

 18K Gold Plated

Floysun’s statement pieces are produced in 18ct gold-plated brass metal with a layer of 18ct gold in a 2 micron thickness. There’s also a layer of anti-tarnish on top for good measure,which has allowed us to develop pieces which are fashionable, durable and affordable.  

White Gold Plated

A layer of white gold applied to a base metal, providing the look of white gold at a budget-friendly price. Enhanced with an anti-tarnish layer for added durability.

Sterling Silver Plated

Our Silver Plated pieces are plated with sterling silver on brass with a layer of anti-tarnish on top. These pieces are still incredibly durable and plated with exactly the same process as our sterling silver, however will not be marked with a 925 stamp as they are not 92.5% pure silver.

14k Gold Filled

Gold-filled jewelry contains a thick layer of genuine, solid 14k gold on the surface of a brass core. It's required to have a minimum of 1/20th (5%) gold by weight, ensuring its authenticity. While not always marked, common indications include "14/20 GF" or "14k GF," with chains often featuring a mark near the clasp. This gold layer preserves the jewelry's appearance for years, boasting waterproof, fade-resistant, and durable qualities.

We use cultured pearls from oysters and freshwater mussels that we carefully select for our pieces. Pearls are sensitive in nature, so don’t forget to treat them with love.

Gemstones

All of our gemstones are genuine mineral stones that are highly valued for their beauty, longevity and rarity. We use an array of high quality, natural gemstones.

Always store your jewelry pieces individually, preferably in your soft-lined box or pouch so that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle. Particular care should be taken with gemstones to ensure that they do not knock against one another when stored. Also remember to keep your chains fastened so they don’t become tangled.

Living in a humid environment? Store your jewelry with a small packet of desiccant crystals to help reduce tarnishing.

Your gold vermeil and silver jewelry should be kept in a dark, cool and dry place. With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidised and eventually tarnish. Storing silver jewelry in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation.The oxidation process is also slowed down by wearing your jewelry often. If however your jewelry is stored for long-periods of time, occasional cleaning is recommended to maintain shine and keep oxidation at bay.

Your jewelry is particularly susceptible to damage from the effects of chemicals present in perfume, hairspray, make-up, nail polish remover, body oils, sun tan lotion and deodorant.

Do not keep jewelry in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause many gemstones to fade and lose their colour. Amethyst, rose quartz, chalcedony and smokey quartz are just some of the gemstones that can become paler from exposure to sunlight.
